This moment! This freaking perfect moment! I know we say it all the time (because it’s true), but they are so married. They are so married that I’m running out of words to describe their perfection. Kate is 100% acting like a wife supporting her husband. Right there. I’ve said it before, but… they already give us all these feelings and they’re not even a couple. How on earth we’re supposed to survive them as an actual couple I’ll never know.

Just… this is bigger than it appears. Any other time she’s made a gesture like this, it’s comfort when he’s under extreme duress, or in danger. Here? He’s embarrassed by his mother in the comfort of his own home with just his partner, a play write, and his daughter in the room. And yet…

So much this. They are really starting to look like a couple. I MEAN FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, DID YOU SEE HOW THE BIG COUCH WAS AND HOW CLOSE THEY WERE AND THE FACT THAT NO ONE ELSE WAS SITTING ON THE COUCH AND THAT MARTHA WAS GIVING THEM THEIR OWN PRIVATE PERFORMANCE AND BECKETT WAS SO ENTHRALLED AND IS SO A PART OF THE CASTLE FAMILY IT ISN’T EVEN FUNNY AND HOW WELL SHE FITS IN AND GENUINELY LOVES THEM ALL?!?!

This was more that just two friends holding hands. This was a partner comforting another partner in the best way she can. Their is just so much love in that one gesture. Beckett obviously cares for Castle so much that she knows when he needs her without even looking at him. SHE WASN’T EVEN LOOKING AT HIM AND SHE KNEW HE NEEDED HER! If that’s not love and compassion then I don’t know what is.
